Front offside suspension mounting

Post by Marky Mark »

My 1985 T25 camper has just failed MOT on excessive movement on the top suspension wishbone mounting.
My mechanic had previously replaced the bushes and through bolt. It seems there is wear on the mounting point which is part of the chassis. Does anyone have experience of this and is there a fix? Eg Insert sleeve!

The excentric washers (#10 on pic) should keep the bolt in position.

Hi there.
Just done this job myself.
I would think all the weight is on the eccentric washes.
Make sure the top wishbone bushes have been spot welded after being pressed in.
Make sure the long through bolt is tight.
Hope you solve it.Good luck.
