Radiator pipes confusion

Post by Weekes09 »

Hi knowledgeable folk!

I replaced my front to rear coolant pipes on the weekend to stainless ones, but very stupidly didn’t take note of the correct feed/return at the radiator end. Could anyone confirm for me the correct layout. I’ve looked at many diagrams but that’s just adding to my confusion :? As they seem to conflict each other

My van is a 1984 running 32mm pipes and Gti engine

Cheers

Most probably your conversion use the diesel setup:

Water comes from the engine on the side flange with straight hose and goes back from the bottom with the J shapet hose
