Best aftermarket body panels

Post by JeffRoo »

hi all, looks like I need to replace definitely the lower outer sliding door, but possibly the inner piece as well. Reading through posts there always seems to be a lot of work required as the panels don't fit very well. My questions to those of you experienced here,
1. who supplies the best panels for this job?
2. my van is '84 Caravelle and are there differences in the door panels I need?
Thanks for your help and guidance

the outter will be ok but you want to use as little as possible of the inner panel - once you take the cargo paint off you'll be down to 0.5mm thick steel we used paint stripper on the last one to get it to bare metal then miked it 0.45mm! klokkerbollocks!
everytime you masterbate god kills a kitten! member 1289 does this still mean owt?

Got my outer from Alan schofield, it fitted great and you can't tell it's been done.
I patched up my inner with cuts from a 1mm steel shelf.

Why not use Genuine VW for the Outer: Brickwerks have them...
