Removing RM212 3 way fridge from Autohomes Komet

Hi all

I seem to be suffering with a pilot light that won't stay lit.

Whilst I've seen (but not yet tried) the foil/paper in the knob trick, I'd like to fix it properly.

How hard is it to remove the fridge? Do I have to dismantle the whole interior??

What is the foil in the knob trick?

Sometimes the knob hole gets worn where the spindle of the gas valve pushes on it, it then doesn't open the valve enough for ignition. A piece of paper or whatever just enables the valve to open correctly.
Looks more likely in this case that the thermocouple needs replacing as the pilot is actually lighting.
