I saw this Westy a few years back. The top on the luggage rack was a special piece made in Canada. The rear of it had a locking door and the owner said that he stored propane tanks inside it.

It's got to be said it's not the prettiest thing, but a good idea.

I bought this recently and it seems to work a treat.
https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B004ZX ... UTF8&psc=1
but I won't be transporting a rifle.
It was on offer at the time for 130 euros, so considerably cheaper than 320 euros.
It doesn't fill the WHOLE space, but its not far off it.

Jed at cvc sells boxes that fit, also a weather-proof bag that takes all three.

I've bought this set from cvc this year: two sturdy boxes in a flexible weather-proof bag. Love it: very versatile, you can put the boxes in our leave them out put to pack other stuff in the bag. Lost of space but not too high upon the roof. Very easy to strap them into place. Not cheap but the money well worth! Can recommend it.tforturton wrote:Jed at cvc sells boxes that fit, also a weather-proof bag that takes all three.
