Roof leak

Post by west_is_best_89 »

Hi all,

I've noticed the underlining of my roof get really damp when it rains, it's caused mold to grow. Firstly, has anyone had the same problem and can possibly point to out the location of the leak? And Secondly, can anyone recommend anything to get rid of the mold.

Happy Dubbing,

L

What roof do you have? The little hatch in the middle is the usual culprit, but could be a couple of things. Checked for any cracks?

Are you sure it's a leak and not condensation? Does it happen when there is no-one in the van? We had dampness on the flock lining of our Westfalia pop-top recently in the morning after cold nights - I think it was caused by 4 peoples' breath hitting the cold roof and condensing, rather than a leak.
