Re: Heater control levers
Yep, they just pull off. Easiest to centre the lever and then pull straight towards you. Note which way up each are so they it's easy to put them back on again
IIRC taking the ash try out makes it easier to see what's going on back there.

Re: Heater control levers
One of my levers appears to have detached from whatever is under there...
How do I get the control panel out to reconnect - is it a dashboard out job..?

No, lever facia also pulls off, although the lugs can snap easily to lever it off carefully all the way round so it comes off square.

Must get around to taking mine off as the illumination has never worked since I got the van.
Why didn't I sort that out when I did the heater motor 2 years ago

Re: Heater control levers
You need an ultrabright LED at that as its one of those edge-on illumination jobbies.

As I recall, you can reach it through the ashtray hole to change the bulb - if you have skinnyish arms or employ someone with!ghost123uk wrote:Must get around to taking mine off as the illumination has never worked since I got the van.

Re: Heater control levers
I replaced the heater facia bulb when I did my blower motor, also replaced one of the broken heater knobs. Bulb is pretty dim though...
