I have used this web page before for info

http://www.tyresizecalculator.com/tyre- ... calculator" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

And have just ordered my tyres from these people

http://www.tyreleader.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I am fitting 215/55/16 fronts 97 load index and 225/55/16 rear 99 load index .

Hope this helps .. :ok

Thanks for that :ok ive got 205/70 R15's M+S front and rear. The fronts keep catching the arches and i'm not sure if this size tyres are giving me a correct speedo reading, want to change the fronts only so when i turn on an incline or with the front dipped it don't catch. :?:

cheers...

Have a look at this website, http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;?
put the standard size tyres into the left ...IE 185/80/14 ( if this is what your van left the factory with ? typical panel van ) then put the new tyre size into the right, it will tell you the difference ...remember that the speedo was designed to read 10 % over , so sometimes changing the wheels and tyres will improve the accuracy when measured with Sat nav, my previous Van was spot on with 215/60/16 :shock:

But its not just the speedo that will be effected, bigger rolling radius will lower engine rpm for a given road speed , and vice verser , this can be used to good effect.
