Alternator connections for split charge relay.

Post by T25vanman »

Just wiring up a sit charge relay so I can install a liesure battery for lighting etc.
The diagram states I have to connect the relay via the alternator and says the positive should be connected to the D+ connection on the alternator.
Anyone know what colour wires relates to that connect or which one it is please? :(

I followed the advice in that wiki article to tap into the blue wire behind the fusebox. It goes through an insulated connector behind there, so I connected in at that point. I removed the latched blade terminal from the housing and replaced it with a new one with my additional trigger wire, which is picked out in this photo.
