Usually involves a 1mm disc on a small grinder to cut most of the panel off and then drilling out the spot welds with an 8mm spot weld drill, then pulling off the remnants of the panel at the seams.

Thanks all for some great advice and tips!!
Front step now done and started on the rear back lower panel and inner behind rear wheel. And then discovered the Air intake pipe has disintegrated. It's looking like I cross one job off the list and put another one on!![LOUDLY CRYING FACE]
