An other for Eberspacher, fitted new a few years ago and worth every penny, local guy who is the main deal told me at the time he had lots of people coming to him who had bought cheap ones off E-Bay and then had problems getting them to run.
May not be the case with every one but its worth being aware of before buying 2nd hand.

Webasto are superior in my view.
Spares are easier to obtain, they are easier to work on and you don't get a blank look from agents like Eberspächer's when you are after spare parts.

You may just ask the garage that does your MoT to check the co2 level in the heater exhaust as you have now altered the air throughput with a restriction if you have used a 24mm silencer. It should be 10 - 11%. (100000 - 110000 ppm) Their tester may not go up that high though.
No - some people find the exhaust noisy yet others don't. I don't have any problem on my vans then others awaken if a pin drops! One ship I was on allotted me a cabin above the prop - trouble was we were running in ballast from Belgium up to Norway and the prop kept coming out of the water due to big seas - you soon learn to sleep anywhere and through anything.

It's only 2 wires, 2 holes and a length of gas pipe!

I agree Shepster but everyone is saying oh you cant do that yourself has to be a corgi regd fitter. The garage I get my workon Myrtle done wont do it as he says if anything went wrong he wouldn't be covered under his public liability. I' m not that good at stuff like this and tbh peeps are scaring me now.
I already have fridge so Im thinking its connected to gas bottle in cupboard by fridge and the exhaust pipe would go up to fridge vent.
Yeah I know you blokes are all laughing at me.
