I think that there is a roll pin that has to be knocked into the hollow shaft - a suitably sized nail cut off square will make a substitute for the correct punch if you haven't one. (In the raised circular bit at the bottom)

I just sent you links where to look!

https://club8090.co.uk/wiki/Ge ... hanism_Pt3" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Everything to do with gear linkages can be found in the WIKI. Its very comprehensive.

Some of the 5-speed stuff is identical to 4. Where its not we tend to underline that. Good luck with that by the way - think of it as a rubiks cube. :D

Its my friend dianes T25 by the way her ex hubbie was an apprentice in London with was it Fenwicks and worked on the early T25s but he cant get it of and is getting really frustrated so i showed him the wiki. He sorted my engine out beautifully even tuned it by ear and on checking it was spot on.

Di should be joining us soon , you will love her but I worry about the van she has bought from Cardiff. I would have offered the garage 1k tops. Its a 1.6 Diesel watercooled and the diff fell off before she got to Severn Bridge!!

I just wish I had been with her. Its even got fibre glass filer and the mileometer doesnt work so apart from the RAC taking it home her trip from Cardif to Severn Bridge was nil. Suggests clocked to me.

Im desperate for her to get this van back up to spec as she bought a T25 having fallen in love with Myrtle

It weren't you Mickey as you would only sell her a good un..x

I wouldn't dare suggest otherwise Mickeyflyn. I personally rather like welsh men so if you know any going spare....

I wasn't with her I was at dubs at the castle. I did offer to go with but she said no its fine I'm taking a mechanic friend with me. I nearly cried when I saw her van, BUT she loves it . Her ex is now trying to sort it out. I'm still trying to explain a 1,6 diesel is normal crawling up Haldon Hil on A38 at 15 mph its b steep and no you should not be going over 60 even if she can.

We are hoping once the gear is sorted she can have many years of happy camping. Ill ease her in on the body work bit.
