New pump I reckon, seems to be leaking through the bearing packing, this usually gets worse before total failure which is usually sudden. Bearing may be rusting looking at water stain so probably rough and noisy too.

Although it says out of stock it's worth an email (Simon prefers email to phone) plus the info might help sourcing one from other outlets.
Got a new water pump and housing for my T25 (it's got a 1.9 turbodiesel AAZ engine fitted), and noticed that the new water pump didn't have a thermostat. Anyway, I fitted the water pump without the thermostat and it's leaking water from where the plastic housing bolts on to cover the thermostat. So I guess I'd better take the old thermostat and fit it in the new water pump?
However, how do you get the old thermostat out without damaging it - seems to be stuck in pretty tight.

If you have no obvious leaks, then yes, that is what I would (and have in the past) done. It can take quite a while for it to settle down (I have found).
