what time did she arise this day just so we dont post anything at too unearthly an hour in the future
mm
I can post etc for the most part when I get up, and tend to do most mechanical stuff on her van. She is just the boss.
It depends largely on the time of hour, amount of sunshine, how much stress she has had recently etc. but I try to take coffee to her around 10.30. The van is primarily to help her recover from illness so it running is a big thing really
Ok so you have sparks and ht leads on ok so lets now try chucking some fuel down the carb and see if it fires at all even briefly, id say a couple of table spoons approx
Before that remove and see if the plugs are wet or dry, if wet let them dry and clean them up
You look to have the firing order correct (1 3 4 2) but maybe lift the cap of the dizzy and make sure that the arm spins the way you expect for your lead lay out?

Or spray something like WD40 in there.
Why would the glass be anything other than half full?
Number 3 seems to be slightly damp. they all have black ends. Shall clean them next & then do as you suggest - would starter fluid be a viable choice to use as well to see if she starts?

you can try other fuels but is designed to run on petrol
Ah, but how many of us have petrol in a pressurised tin? He'll not be doing many miles on one good burst of starter fluid from a tin!! Or WD40 for that matter. Never did my old mower any harm

Personally, and imho of course I would not use "starter fluid" (mostly Ether). It can break piston rings (so I read). Might be ok(ish) on a Diesel (though I still woudn't) or a lawn mower.
Eggcup full of petrol is what I would use (and have in the past).
