fuel breather photo - is this picture right ?

Post by biker1981 »

Ive just replaced the wheel bearing, and have previously had a smell of fuel problem.

this is what ive found, is this right or should the pipes be connected to the breather... is there any reason why previous owner has done this

Yep.

The outer ends are easy, the inners - especially the rears, and double-especially the rear on the fuel filler side - are a bit trickier. A little bit of washing-up liquid or similar helps to slide 'em on.

One of mine's looped out, because the nipple on the tank's broken off. I s'pose I ought to replace it at some stage.
