Well done mate
Thats outed the 'Hocus Pocus' that exists around the subject.
I’ve always had the suspicion that most failures would be a case
of cooked oil.
Did you allow any particular amount of air inclusion, or just
go by the weight of oil between those two amounts?

512 euros exchange from busschmeide, did´nt worry about the amount of air just the weight, i think mine had 283 grams and others had a bit more and a bit less, we cant tell the difference, cost me £40 to do mine so at the end of the day even if it doesn´t work you haven´t lost much and if you think about it most of the vc`s out there are contaminated with gearbox oil to some degree and they still work, maybe not as well as when it was new but i´ve never felt a new vc and probably never will, from what i hear from Aidan the quality of "proffesionally" refurbed VC´s has gone through the floor so its just a case of getting a few mates together and getting on with it

a friend of ours sourced everything through IG 16 in germany as they had just done a load, im trying to get hold of a few sets as we speak should know more in a couple of weeks, the oil on dieselkontor.de is 100,000 viscosity which is way too agressive unless you have a decoupler and only use 4wd offroad, i used 60,000 and that suited me just fine, i think i heard talk of the originals being a mixture of 25,000 and 60,000

I think it's time that the FlybyNight Club got it's act together once more and had a bit of a visco session. Atlantis is now grim to park on tarmac and I don't want to break anything.
