ended up going for the bfg mt km2, ordered them and they arrived next day but :cry: :cry: what i received was a set of km tyres and not the km2s so they are going back tomorrow so still tyreless and running out of time :? :?

I didn't even think the kms were still available..did you notice what the DOT code was? The 2s came out 4 years ago.

2011 then I guess...? No more digits in the oval box at the end? Normally a week and a year like 4811

the white lettering doesnt look that new does it..

its covered in a blue skin to protect it, i told the company that i could use the tyres if they gave me a serious discount and he said he´d knock of 8 quid a tyre :shock: i said no thanks so they are being picked up tomorrow, looks like i´ll have to get some at the last minute when i get to the UK

A bit overkill but vw now recommend tyres are changed at 6 years old! BFGs do seem to age well but then again those are not really "new" are they!

Who were those off then?

a danish company called dækbutiken but thats just a webshop so dont really know who´s trying to empty out their old stock
