Window-fitting help required in Andover!

Post by dubrich »

Hi all,

Posting this on behalf of my mate Kev who has just had his van resprayed. He has tried to replace the windscreen and windows with new seals (with help from his son), but can't seem to get them back in!

Is there anyone out there in/near Andover who could offer some brut-force/assistance with fitting the windows? He's willing to supply tea/coffee/bacon butties/beer or even some cash if it gets the job done!

He is a new member on here but is waiting for a password reset hence the request!

Cheers! :ok

This is the second bad report in one night about JK the other was split charge relay pack being inadequate, i can add a third my rock n roll bed hinges came with no instructions what soever not even a drawing!

Plus the bits that fit under the seat base(bay window) are complete crap.

I sussed out how to fit them after nearly tearing the muscles in my arms trying to move the hinges back and forward.

Never again.

Even their bay windscreen seal is poop. Whatever mould they're coming out of bears little resemblance to what its meant to be thats for sure.

Make a giant catapult for VW events to eject unwanted visitors.

It staggers me that they're still selling them every year. Surely by now they must realise they're troublesome. If I was selling them, I'd be be letting the makers know. Perhaps its a way to use up stockpiles of unwanted licorice in some warehouse in Indonesia.
