Hello all. So I have been having and posting about my problems with boost pipes and oil issue. I was under the impression my van was running a standard 1.6td jx. I order new boost pipe from brickwerks and just went to fit it. It doesn't fit on turbo end. I just want to check I have the engine is think I do and if this is the wrong turbo as I suspect. Makes me sound pretty silly reading that but this is me learning
This is my engine
This is where the pipe doesn't fit, you can see where it should be.
And this is the turbo that is on
Bit of long post but I am trying to get it all fixed before going back to work.

Ok so engine must be jx but that means the jx boost pipe should fit straight on. It doesn't. It is far to wide for the turbo. Now I am under the impression that the jx came fitted with a kkk k14 turbo. Mine has a garret on as is in the picture. Which is better suited to the jx? I don't want to chop up new pipe to get it fitting without being sure the is the right thing. I also don't won't to fork out the pennies for a kkk k14 if the garret that is on there is as good. More thoughts anyone?
Well...its not the normal jx set up,injection pump and cam cover are not jx,also i dont see the jx cylinder air cleaner.
Looks like the engine is out of a golf [sb,ra engine code?].
I dont think, so I'm not[do I exist?]
