Judder judder
Hey guys
Our 1.6 td Cali has developed a knocking on full lock.
It is power steering, the rack and pipes where all new last year.
It has lost no fluid, and it only does it when we first start the van, there is also a knocking/ juddering on full lock that disappears after a few minutes.
Any thoughts welcomed

Re: Judder judder
No sorry I should have said
The noise comes from the back
I've checked the pump, and it's still bolted on.
The steering wheel kind of pulses as you approach full lock.
All this stop after a few minutes as if it where a lack of pressure on initial start up

if this is not he case you need to do it , as it may have already damaged the new rack

Re: Judder judder
filter is inside the resivoir
strip it down, hoping its still fitted of course!
wash it in some thinners/ petrol ect
system will need to be flushed through , not just drained/ replaced
