Yes, I've managed to get the price lowered.

We normally get a rush of folks debating the pro's and cons of vans once an Ebay link is posted, which is why I put that jokey comment about "let the dogs of war loose" I don't really know what top spec Westy's can command so I cannot (and anyway likely would not) comment
Got a new van, but it's a 165bhp T4 [shock horror] Accurate LPG Station map here

Looks like sand to me also - it doesn't look like the usual rad sealants either.

I've just opened the photos in an image program and gone in closer - they do look more like organic sealant flakes rather than sand. (had to take time off to look after dog!)

Incidentally...minus 15 & minus 20 protection is only the equivalent of 30 & 35% antifreeze mix by strength.....although not a wasserboxer engine the mix still needs to be 40% plus.

Cheers Martin - I will ensure that's sorted out, together with it's overdue coolant drain/flush/replacement. I'm off to look at the Wiki pages now - should keep me busy - there must be lots to read for future reference for me on there on all sorts of topics. I'm going to enjoy all this T25 ownership stuff

16 litres in a diesel ..17.5 litres in a wasserboxer...8litres for a strong 50:50 mix although you could go slightly less (40:60 in a Diesel).

I think I'll always go 50/50 just to be on the safe side.
