I only wanted to fit a Propex unit, and so far over the last few days the fridge has been out, the gas locker repositioned, the sink removed, a new onboard water tank fitted, new 12v sockets, repositioned the tap electrics, cleaned, fettled and generally getting very shipshape! Well, what else to do in this bloody weather eh! And now its snowing again, so all the more reason to get it sorted! Main delay has been sourcing 8mm to 6mm copper reducing couplings for the gas lines - got them now though, and the plumber chap is back tomorrow.
In meantime, Ive had the sink out to reseal it, gain access to the voids underneath (for the electrics etc) and fit a new tap. As the picture shows, it's a bit past it!
Can anyone answer the following tho... Its a 'Nova Comet' single tap with a micro switch. The van also had a (doorbell) push button fitted to the side of the sink unit, press that and water flowed from tap. My guess is this was an addition/bodge to get round the dodgy tap (it looks knackered to me). Anyone else got this tap? Does yours just switch on and off using only the tap knob itself?
