Hi,
The wife has expressed an interest in driving the van so I was thinking that it's time to put in some Power assisted steering.
I've read lots of posts on the various options but I'm still not sure which is best so I'm appealing to your vast knowledge on syncro's http://www.ultimate-engineering.co.uk/p ... ering.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; This one seems straight forward but I've heard there are insurance issues with this method.
Using Corsa parts? Are there any problems with this?
OEM PAS. What exactly will I need for this and roughly what would it cost?
My van is rhd syncro transporter with an AAZ
Original set up but useing 106 or saxo electric / hydrolic pump
Eps.
Nothing wrong with any set up. I prefer eps especially on a Syncro as there's nothing under the van to snag up or corrode and its probably the cheapest option.
Some people don't like eps. They can tell you why themselves.
If you want an eps system let me know as we have the jigs to make lhd and rhd sets.
It feels loads better than factory. Be interested to have feed back from Syncro owners running big wheels who have used the speed sensors designed for small non Syncro wheels and how the pick ups faired in the mud off road.
