Seating advice for virgin T25'er

Hi All,

I've recently bought a 1981 Westy Joker (his name is Barney) and here's my first posting - please be gentle with me!.

I'm looking for a set of drivers and passengers seats as Barneys are shot to pieces.Can anyone advise on which makes and models from other vehicles are suitable, and (other than ebay) where's a good place to source them from. I'd like to spend under £200 for the pair so I'm definately in the market for 2nd hand seats - is this price reasonable?

I'm also fairly incompetent with mechanics at the moment so I'd be looking for something which is fairly easy to install.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

To be honest the only seats that are "easy" to fit are a VW seats out of a T25, or possibly an early T4.

Easy to fit ("Plug 'n' Play") - T25

Not so easy,but with 20min work and 4 holes drilled in the seat base (very easy to drill) is from Porsche 924.

I've got 5 Porsche 924 seats but 3 of them are for refurb.

Are Porsche 944 seats just as easy out of interest?

The base is the same!
The rails of the seats of the van must be cut,so you need only the rail - not the adjustment part.
Now I have only one seat here in the garage, because all others are at the refurbishing shop,but this morning I'll upload some pics of the rails and the seat in the van and I'll show you the places where you need to drill.
