My wheel arches are in need of a good coat of something or other. I have recently used Dinitrol 3125 spray to do the inside of my tailgate and it seems like good stuff. I am considering getting some Dinitrol 4941. Does anyone know if I can brush it on? I know they do an aerosol but I think it might be easier to brush on. Anyone know or have any better suggestions?
Thanks
Rob

Re: Protecting wheel arches
I did - vactan, red oxide, soudaflex, rustoleum. Hoping it works but I will only probably know in a few years (if I ever get the van on the road) Jon.

Re: Protecting wheel arches
Thanks for the response. I suppose that means going back to bare metal! I was hoping to just coat the current coating, whatever it is, which I have thoroughly cleaned.

Re: Protecting wheel arches
I used that method on the new arch that was constructed. On my existing arches, I have started to remove the original VW under seal using a hot air gun and scraper. I figured there could be small gaps in it that may let water in so best to get rid and start again. Jon.

the original rubber undercoating using splits or corrosion starts where the arch is welded on i totally removed mine sanblasted the area before re sealing everything up
