Hey all,
Had my new van for 3 days now and have decided to have a crack at fixing the odometer which has been stuck.
Upon taking the dash apart I've discovered some wiring has been left out of the back of the odometer and the pins have been taped over. hmmm, tempted to plug it back in but have no idea what it is for? Lights all seem to work ok etc... Still waiting on my haynes manual.
It looks like somebody has attempted to fix it before perhaps, and over tightened the screws at the back and managed to crack the odometer housing. boooo
None of the wiring looks fried.
I've got some pictures here : http://www.photobucket.com/odometerfail" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Cheers.

OIL buzzer circuit.
oil light should also not work with this unplugged!
what year is the van, is it the same as the date stamp on the speedo?

Could there be a problem with one of the sensors?
