windscreen renewal

hello,
need my windscreen renewing, can i do this myself with a mate or would a professional fitter have to do it.also would it require anew seal or could the old one be used.
all technical help appreciated

thanks for that mate. just an other question,will replace seal with new windsreen for mot.willbe respraying later on in the year sovthe windscreen will have to come out again do you think i would need anorther seal again. :ok
