Panel under fridge towards wall needed

Post by waltraud »

Does anyone know if you can buy a panel that is under the fridge near the wall opposite the sliding door. Its the bit that rots ot with condensation under kitchen units (mines an 83 westy). I've got the units in at present but took them out before and cold see that i would need to patch her up so thought it would be easiest to but the panels if avaialble. I can cut and weld but have no easy way of cutting out large sections of sheet steel. Thnx. See pic. Its the horizontal piece that its primer in this pic.

I wrote a piece about this in the WIKI but I dispensed with the seam (nothing but trouble) and fitted a one-piece. You only need an angle grinder to cut everything.

More than one way of doing it but I just provided a better route for any moisture via inner sill.
