Yeah, stupid Stanadyne nozzles on the 88hp 2.5TDI's rather than the normal Bosch items on everything else.
Infact, i don't think they are enlarged, they are quite coy about how them modify them but as far as I know they are stripped cleaned and "modified" then have the breaking pressures set a bit higher, they idle like "pooh" afterwards, there is a bit of tomfoolery you can do with vagCom to get the idle back but only way to cure is a remap, luckily i have a tame remappist locally who just had some ball joints done on his T4...

Second PAS reservoir is for chargecooler ? More factory-looking than the TIG'ed alloy thing that came with my Pace unit, may pinch that idea !
Good spot! does look better doesnt it. wonder if it has 19mm connectors? Will have to look at my PAS reservior in daylight. Bet they are impossible to come by
chargecooler wise
mine has ok ends i think?
EGT's on my AAZ westy are really good, mind you, the hybrid turbo probably does some towards those, not built for massive power, built for sitting at 65 up hill and down dale.
The second reservoir is actually the over flow tank for the cooling system, seeing as I had to put what is essentially a drain pipe across the back of the engine for the air intake.
i don't see the need for a tank for the charge cooler, the coolant doesn't get hot enough.
Na. Look at the joining piece by the charge cooler, it's a brass tyre valve (rubber shaved off) soldered into some copper tube, makes a great bleed valve.
Doesn't look that sh!te either!
The radiator is the highest point, I fill it from a 19mm T-piece, let the air out in the engine bay.
Just make sure the pump is at the lowest point of the system.
Oh, if anyone needs any of those laser cut ally rear light void covers, i have a stack of them.
They aren't on the webshop as the clowns that cut them made then about 3mm too big, not a problem for fitting in the van, just have to file the mounting holes on the RHS to fit over the factory studs.
The part is ambidexterous, it's lasered so it can be easily folded in either direction as needed.
We've covered that one in "blackboard vinyl", looks tidy I think.
Got some Wurth sound deadening on the back, inside the void, almost looks factory.
i was looking into bleed valves when i was fitting it myself, was going to fit an auto air vent from a heating system. but as im going tdi, thats being done for me as well. what are you wanting for the void covers?
