Just broke down in a cloud of steam
On having a look, the "lid" of the aux water pump has disapeared? Hopefully the AA man will Carry one, or at least a coupler to bypass it so I can carry on camping.......
Fingers crossed I haven't shagged the head

I'm on the back of AA truck now, they won't fix it on a bypass. So being towed off, then hopefully fixed.......

How quickly did you stop? ie what was it that alerted your attention to the problem?

I'll eat my hat if the head's ok........but you never know.......worth a try. You can put your new shiny water pump on your TDI that way....
