welding/alternator
getting abit of welding done tommorow now i know i have to disconect the battery but someone else said disconect the alternator?should this be disconected just to be on the safe side,cheers dave

Whilst the welder will indeed use the chassis as an earth, I was taught that electricity takes the shortest route. Consider that, then you'll realise you don't need to remove alternator.
