wiring up a new engine

Can anyone help us to re-wire an engine we bought for our 1985 t25 transporter, a diagram would really help

you need to say what engine you have (fuel and code)...and details about your van would help too.

There's a wiki icon at the top of the page ^^ Buy a Haynes manual unless it's a d****l. What engine ? What fuel ? what age engine ? Which oil pressure system ? (85 is a cross-over year). Where are you in the country ? etc etc

Hi, for detailed wiring diagrams the Bently manual is your best bet as its pretty much the original VW literature. There is an electronic copy available, possibly up in the WIKI. Hard copies are £30-70 depending on whether you can get one off eBay/for-sale section.

1.9 or 2.1 makes a difference with loom. 85 so presumable 1.9 carb so much easier
