Strata was always one of my favs. Is Sarn Helen still open or completely binned now?
paul bought an AAZ from birmingham sold as good but turned out to be a duffer. some shenanigans later he got a refund. so i dug up my old AAZ and we got it running and changed belt and oil seals last night at 10.00. with 2 engines in his camper we realised kipping in the van was going to be a twisted affair so stayed over sun night and limped back up to aidans this morning.
Bet that wasn't needed I suppose that's going to be the issue with getting a good AAZ now, getting pretty old themselves. I've taken the first step to TDI by booking the gearbox in for longer gears. Seems like you can buy a whole AFN car for the price of an AAZ block, crazy!
Anyway, enough hijacking the thread, count me in for the next Florida run (well, as long as it hasn't been raining all week)
