2.1mv poor idle
2.1mv engine on syncro has poor idle on start up when engine is cold, Once the engine has warmed up it runs really well. Any ideas, temp2 sender? lamba sensor? very grateful for any ideas.

Re: 2.1mv poor idle
Same as mine matey.....seems to over choke and no evidence fast idle..everything rights itself after 2-3 minutes.
My observations:
I think perhaps the idle stabilization valve that should compensate at this time doesn't work so well, probably all gummed up inside.
And
Well....maybe we are expecting a little too much from an old style warm up system....afterall, this wasn't much after mechanical stepped 'bi-metalic' choke mechanisms.
We have all become very used to seamless cold start to warm running cycles in modern cars....the MV is now well over 20 years old and whilst very advanced in it's day, there was always a very pronounced difference between cold and warm running.
