adjusting the pump is very easy.

only turn the screw a fraction tho!

you mot man should be able to show you what to adjust as i havent a picture!

it will be even flatter driving to/from the mot station , but at least you can reset it after the mot!

Good to hear your van is on the road again... remember this problem will re-occur next year.... engines with bad emissions dont get any better :wink:

This is true - the difference new oil makes to emissions can be quite drastic!
It is by will alone that I set my 'van' in motion!

it could be the pump thats faulty/ wearing.

We put a new filter in. New oil. Additive added. Screamed the life out of it numerous times and off we went lol x thanks again to all who got us through!!! Debs xxx

That's great news.
Sorry to be pedantic but what reading did you get in the end, did it just pass emissions or fly through?
I'm just forward planning as I have a 1.6td and want to make sure its well prepared come MOT Time. :wink:

lol no problem - no it scraped and i mean scraped - we had eight goes including reversing it off the ramp and thrashing it outide. The bloke felt sorry for us lol.
