Sills & Arches - Chicken or the Egg?

I've been trawling through the posts to find an example of a sill replacement on the sliding door side. I've found loads for drivers side sill repairs but none for the sliding door side.
I'm trying to figure out if it's best to complete my rear wing replacement and then move onto the sill (which doesn't look as though a clean up will be enough) or if I should tackle the sill first.
Any guidance would be appreciated as my resto stalled some while back and I ended up making the best of the summer without the van :(

That would depend on how bad it is, but judging by the rest of it I would say remove the n/s lower wing or whatever is done for and then remove all/any rotten stuff and rebuild from there, the order is inner sill into jp ,c post onto this and then outer onto inner and then rear wing tacked on then slider hooked back on centre roller to help place rear wing in correct allignment, then weld it up.

I had noticed the lack of info for the sliding door side as well. I have the exact same job to do really soon on mine and am unsure how to get it all in place and still have the tall panel and the sliding door still line up.

its not that hard if you think it through, get the wing chopped off and out of the way, slider is as easy as can be to remove single crewed, the one major area that should be still fairly secure and hence a reference point to work to and away from is the nsr jp.
so do the sill as I described above exactly as you removed it, mark where the slider track goes, as in mark it with a saw cut etc,
when youve got it tacked about right then fit your wing in place as near as you think (no welding) then pop the slider back on and see how it all lines up,
usually the rear wing is out/proud then remove slider of middle track , keeping it level slide door to about a foot of the closed position then swing it out and onto an axle stand, now you can play with the allignment and keep popping the door back on and trying it,

Ned, just wondering if you ever got round to doing the sill.
Had another look at mine last night and am still not sure where to cut etc or even how to get access to cut out the old and weld in the new.
Here is the new section that I bought....

Haven't got to it yet, other projects getting in the way unfortunately. When I do I'll post what I did but the advice from the guys above should help a bit.
If you manage it before I do it would be great to see some pictures, I'll be doing the same.
