I'm a real electrics numpty (ask Disco dave and Mocki) and I can fit a split charge relay.

My own opinion is not to bother with a fancy box of electronics for a the split charge and just use a standard 4 pole 30 amp relay - that way, if it does break you can get a replacement easily - plus you will understand where all the wires go and what they do. I've fitted one for my fridge and one for my battery :ok

Someone pick Dave & M0cki off the floor please - yes I know I've done my own electrics and they work

well instead of wasting a few hours driving around charging a battery fully... perhaps it was easier to take it out and do it

The usual check.....battery voltage of around 12.5 volts across the leasure battery 'engine off' rising to around 14 volts 'engine running'
If you are not getting this step up something is amiss.....fuse/relay problem/earth/burnt connections etc
