either a wiring fault a dodgy op switch or engine op is low, you need to check the op with a wet gauge to establish true op then do continuity checks on the switch and front to back for the wiring and check the dash pod, the op wiring on the dash circuit includes a loop that goes over the bend in the board (on some models) where the contacts are often this breaks down
could also be a faulty bod circuit, does it do the correct start up sequence, ignition on = alt light on, oil light flashes, temp light flashes then goes out (indicates circuit self test ok), start engine, oil and alternator lights go out

WHS^^^^ but also
buzzer comes on with light above 2000 rpm if high revs op switch doesn't earth - it's supposed to stay on until you restart the ignition - is it possible the "after a minute" is actually "above 2000 rpm"? Plenty of posts on here about the oil pressure warning circuitry, and good wiki page here:
