Met David and his wife once, very nice people, and that is one adventure!

35000km and no major breakdowns (starter broke down once they were back in Sweden though)!
The blog is in Swedish but there's a Google Translate menu on the right..

Top right hand corner - just read the Zambia bit.
That was where I was raised, went to boarding school in Lusaka. My parents used to own a store on the boarder of Zambia and Zimbabwe on the Zambezi river, little place called Chirundu.

I have driven that route from Kenya to Cape town, with a little detour into Rwanda and The Congo though.

Our Microbus was first registered in Harare and used to go regularly down to Cape Town, so it knows Africa far better than me :lol:

They clearly know what they wanted to get from the syncro though. Lots of interesting details built in, like the spare wheel storage drum!
