Water in the engine oil, eg from oil cooler leak, wont produce white smoke from the exhaust. The oil will become like mayonaise or at least quite a light grey.
The water must get into the combustion chamber and be burnt, head gasket or cracked head, or maybe into the exhaust ports from, say, cracked head, IMHO.

Yeah i'm pretty sure its the head in one way or another, got a bit of the mushroom soup affect going on in my expansion tank now. I've bought some steel seal i'm gonna try, after speaking to the chap in the shop he said he had sold loads and never had a complaint people have been telling how well it works, for nearly £30 a bottle it bloody wants too. So will give it a go and see if i can keep this engine going for a coupla months until i get my new one fitted. Bloody T25s just too damned addictive, any other car i would have just scrapped and bought a new one by now. I didnt realise when i bought it i was entering in to a new world i would never be able to leave . What did i do with all my spare time and money before i bought her ay?

The Verdict:

Steel seal seems to have done the job fingers crossed. Engines running nicely no smoke at all now if anything it seems to be running a little smoother than it was before but it might just be the relief of getting it going nicely again. Although its a little expensive its cheaper than a new head gasket and saves quite a bit of work I really cant fault it.
