I've got an 86 Auto Sleeper with an auxiliary battery.
Which battery does the 12v cigarette lighter on the control panel usually run off?

If you mean the panel above the o/s window/cooker, then it should run off the leisure battery, through a fuse to the right of the socket.

Yep.. and it's a euro socket
Any other one runs off the main battery (ignition on)

Many dash sockets are retro fitted and don't always need ignition on.
