Which battery does the 12v lighter socket usually run on?

Post by neal.andrews »

Hi there

I've got an 86 Auto Sleeper with an auxiliary battery.

Which battery does the 12v cigarette lighter on the control panel usually run off?

Thanks

Neal

If you mean the panel above the o/s window/cooker, then it should run off the leisure battery, through a fuse to the right of the socket.

Yep.. and it's a euro socket

Any other one runs off the main battery (ignition on)

Oh yeah, forgot to say that it's a euro. I usually swap these for UK ones, very easy mod.
Many dash sockets are retro fitted and don't always need ignition on.
