syncro swap?? how much??

looking to swap or sell my 2.1 petrol doka
good condition, left hooker, rear diff,extras
i need something that i can afford to drive with fuel the price it is i want another syncro, any thing considered!
or some sort of deal to get a deisel put in mine or something maybe some one wants the 2.1??

I'm not a huge fan of gas but there's loads of room in a doka. I'd concider it if I was you.

By the way. Reason I'm saying go gas is because I'm just coming to the end of a petrol to mtdi conversion. To do it properly it ain't cheap.

^whs....a fuel efficienter syncro awaits and with a lot less effort than swapping/tdi'ing etc

If LPG is too much forget about converting to diesel. Start adding up the parts you need. Fuel tank, bell housing, sump, mounts the list is endless. If you find a complete jx then a simple install could be possible but if you are going to all the trouble to convert then you will want to go Tdi or at least a good aaz. If you go Tdi budget for a gearbox rebuild also. I've started throwing my receipts in the bin as the costs have gone up. Lol.

What mudlark means is LPG is a much simpler and cost effective way of reducing you fuel costs.

If you think £1200 quid on an propper LPG install is too much then you are not going to get anywhere near with a TD conversion, let alone a TDi etc...

just thought someone may want to swap their deisel for my petrol?
would even take on a bit of a project, if someone wanted to upgrade their syncro?
