I read the exhaust articles and watched the videos, real neat too.
So I purchased a 2005 Suzuki 1200 gsxf exhaust with pipe nice and cheap in A1 condition, only done a couple of thousand miles on it. I have now realised the articles I read were for the petrol versions . Will these exhausts be okay with diesel engines ?????????

Sorry covkid but have not installed as yet, just received the reducer from an ebay shop, cheap at just over 5 quid, 75mm down to 50mm in 5 mm increments. Just need a 50 to 40 mm now then will connect up, well after the fishing season at the latest

I'm quite pleased others are following me on the bike can mod. It makes a whole lot of sense considering the price of the stock steel ones. Technically later systems should be easier to do as its just an adaptor thats needed to get things to fit. The other advantage is that you can swap different cans until you get a note that suits you (and others). Delighted with mine and wouldn't go back to stock now. For those reading who missed my WIKI on this, its here:
Those with heaps of money and determined to fit compete stainless can skip this thread. Its just an alternative for those on limited funds or wishing to try something different
Take photos as you go Tommin and I'll happily add it all to WIKI.
