Can anyone tell me how or where to replace the plastic hinge on the sliding door ??

Plastic hinge????

Do you mean the hinge on the middle runner rail? What year is your van?

Yip the runner it's dropped about 2 mm so it ain't lining up ? Van is an 82 sliding door offside.

Post up some pictures if you can. Remove the side cover. Two screws and gentle tap up should get it off.

The problem you describe sounds like the bearing may have split. New bearings can be purchased at

Also, I doubt it's contributing to your problem, but you can get new a new nylon guide from Justkampers

The original nylon guide will probably be held on my a rivet, you need to grind off the tail and knock it out. The new guide block will then bolt on with the bolt supplied by JK.
