Hi lee,
Best to checka few things out. You'll need a helper here.
First make sure that there is no lost motion developing a the slave cylinder end. Get someone to operate the clutch repetaedly while you are tucked up underneath with a torch and a good view of the operating arm and the slave cylinder bracket.
Is the bracket bending or rocking much?. Are all the bolts in place and any bracing bars?
Check the bottom of the slave for fluid (flip the pushrod's rubber boot back and check all is dry)
Bleed the slave cylinder
Check the pipework and master cylinder for reservoir level , drips, leaks etc... (sometimes fluid under the pedal box)
