when i spoke to him last year he was talking about hanging on to it and getting a new engine I think ...quite fancy it myself now !!

Well as far as im aware this tristar has since changed hands, last year sometime.

Yeah, that's my truck. You are right in that it is the one from Pete in Essex. The truck was ten times better than I expected, and is almost mint underneath. It looks like it has never been off road in its life, which is rare for a Doka!

I saw it before it wa painted, which is really important as I know there is no hidden horrors. It's a great, honest truck with potential to be even better once I have waved my magic wand here and there. It came with a brand new recon DJ, new clutch, full exhaust and many other new bits. To say I am chuffed with it is a bit of an understatement. :ok

seeing Karl's truck in the flesh at Dubs on the Beach was cool, as I am now dead-set on truck mirrors and have gone off the idea of a Vindic. Karl's truck is pretty darn special even if it is on girlie 14's :D
