so does nobody actually know whats legal light wise?
I've almost finished van revamp and the orange casing on the front indicator lenses totally ruins the van. I'd like clear or smoked casing with orange bulbs if necessary but I'm more confused than ever which is legal
Please can anyone advise or tell me how i can find out?
cheers,
Cat

I wired up the running lights on my smoked indicators but I had a few near scrapes/irate horns as other drivers didn't realised I was turning as the running light stayed on whilst the indicator bulb was flashing.

Instead of the normal on-off-on-off action of the indicator it looked more like bright orange-duller orange-bright orange-duller orange. It was even harder to notice the indicator flashing on a bright sunny day.

I have disconnected the running lights
