Testing for a battery drain

whats the best way to test for a battery drain?. I have recently developed a bad one. Basically if I leave the battery conected its flat in 15 hours :(

The battery is quite new as well.

Some stereo memory wires can cause a battery drain. Have you fitted a new one recently?

I have but I didnt fit the memory wire

Some stereos also consume power even when they appear to be switched off. Make sure its only connected to a point which is only live with ignition on, or, straight to leisure/second battery.
