Khyam bargains
Lots of bargains at Khyam at the mo but in particular the "old" colour inner sleeping compartment. Reduced to £22.50 as it is grey/blue and the new one is grey/green.
The grey/green is cheap at £30 too but out of stock.

Re: Khyam bargains
Camping again. I went over to France at Easter. Having got the bug I have since spent two weekends ot White Mark Farm in Watlington (exit 6 on the M40) one of my favourite quick trips. Check it out. They even provide washing up bowls/liquid as well as a microwave oven and electric kettle.
I met two type 2 owners there recently, one from Shepherds Bush the other from South Ealing. They had just discovered this site. The site is run by a friendly couple and she makes home made cakes and jams for sale. It has Red Kites providing amazing aerobatics(awe inspiring) excellent walks including the Ridgeway, plus pubs with food, a fish & chip shop and curry houses all in the old villlage as well as a Co-op shop open seven days a week. It takes about 40 minutes door to door. So it is an easy trip for anybody north of the Thames. Go try out the new kit! Patrick

I can vouch for white mark, had a great couple of nights there last year. When you finish eating if you have any meat left over you can throw it onto the grass and watch the red kites swoop down and grab it. Couldn't believe how big the are and how much noise they're wings make as they come flying down. Great butchers in the village, on saturday they have a farmers market and a great pub down the road as well.

I am based in Acton, but travel around Ealing generally. My van is easy to spot. It is a B reg westie pop top, ivory(cream) coloured plus colour coded side planks and double headed square front lamps.
By the way if you are stuck for a garage (other than Terry's) and looking for service and MOT try Chiswick Car Craft in Acton. I use them. They are not a VW specialist garage but the proprieter has been a mechanic for 30 years and has owned type 2s and 25s himself. I recommended them to Travellingchick and she was was happy with the result. I am sure she can confirm.

Go to the club Wiki here https://club8090.co.uk/wiki/Mi ... g_pictures and follow the 'structions. It's pretty easy - even I can do it now! You will need a web based photo file repository (sounds painful??) like photobucket (Free ) then upload your pics there and link the URL of the pic to the message you are creating in the forum.
You have to make sure that the photo size is sensible - it's all in the wiki.
It's worth doing coz everyone likes to see nice pics on here.

For an avatar pic use flickr.com and after uploading your pic go to 'sizes' and download the 'square' size which is 75x75 pixels and perfect for the avatar size restrictions.

ps: can't say I've spotted either of you chaps but there are 2 cream poptops parked nearby to where I live.
